Pittsburgh pen and ink illustrator, Charles Ott recently presented President Obama and First Lady, Michelle Obama with his illustration of the White House. The artist is known for his very detailed hand-drawn pen and ink illustrations of architectural landmarks. Selection of his work can be viewed on his website,

In addition, the illustrator presented the President with an illustration of the Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial Baptist Church located in Birmingham, Alabama. It was from this church that Dr. King served as pastor from 1954-60 and it was the epicenter of the American Civil Rights Movement. This year ceremoniously also marks the 100th anniversary of the NAACP. Lastly, Charles presented Obama's two dauhters, Malia & Sasha with his illustration of the Cinderella Castle located at Walt Disney World.
