Plane Crash in Tulsa Oklahoma Kills All Five On Board
A small plane crash in Tulsa Oklahoma this morning killed all five people on board. The 1976 Piper PA-32R-300 plane crashed in a park just minutes after it took off from Richard Lloyd Jones Jr. Airport in Tulsa at 10:40 am local time.
The plane was bound for Dallas Love Field Airport in Texas, where it was scheduled to land at 12:09pm local time.
The control tower said that the plane clipped a wire that forced it to crash in Chandler Park. No one was injured on the ground, but the victims on the plane are two males and three females between the ages of 19 and 50.
The plane was registered to the Lester Stephen T. Trustee in Tulsa.
Because there are fatalities in the crash, the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash.
