Please step down Malaysia's PM by happybrunette23

Malaysia's premier Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, once upon a time nick named "Pak Lah" by his loving citizens and fellow cabinet peers has now been harassed by the local media and the citizens themselves to step down.

Pak Lah announced a later date in the year 2010, but due to adamant protest from his peers in his on political party Barisan Nasional and street protests, he had announced March 2009, as the day he would step down as Prime Minister of Malaysia. Many had speculated that Pak Lah is into curruption and is only interested to make as much money from his position of power for personal benefit and the state of the country is of no interest to him.

Pak Lah had made a nice plan for his transition of power to his Vice President Najib Abdul Razak to be the next Malaysia's premier. A son to Malaysia's ex Prime Minister Abdul Razak and nephew to Malaysia's ex Prime Minister Tun Hussein Onn, Najib's rise to office was when his father had died from Luekimia, at age 22 , making him the youngest law maker at the time. He is no outsider to the political world and although the top post would be his soon, a lot of people and members of the parliment are not too happy about him being Prime Minister. Many people worried of his soft leadership and personal interest on how to rule the country.

Najib Abdul Razak had been linked to Altantuya, a model who was shot and bombed almost 2 years ago, speculation of a picture taken together with the model had circulated that there was proof to his link to the murdered victim. Raja Baginda the murder's mastermind, who was involved in this hineous crime was released from prison less than a week ago, followed by another speculation leak that an sms from Najib's cell phone that promises Raja Baginda's freedom.

The trial has been going on for almost 2 years. There was a couple of times the evidence had been found and reported but no court action or punishment passed.

The second post of power goes to Muyiddin Yasin and Senior Minister for Deputy Prime Minister.

The Strong contender that almost rule the cabinet recently with his remarks of cabinet members jumping ship to the opposition party would be a non other than Mr. Anwar. He apparently offered any member of cabinet that would like to jump ship to his opposition party PKR short for Party Keadilan Rakyat at a price. RM30,000.000 (USD6,000,000).

Mr. Anwar Ibrahim had been, the second time around, accused of sodomizing a young man companion that was working as his personal secretary Mohd. Saiful Bukhari Azlan swore on the Quran holy book that he was telling the truth about the sodomization to the Malaysian court.

So far, this is the truth about the Malaysian Political scene.
