PM condemns railway track blast near Bahawalpur

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday strongly condemned the bomb blast near Bahawalpur in which the railway track was damaged, resulting in derailment of a train and killing of innocent people.

The Prime Minister expressed sympathy and condolences with the families of those who lost lives in the unfortunate incident.

He announced Rs 300,000 to be given to the families of deceased and Rs 100,000 for the injured persons.

The Premier directed the concerned departments to inquire into details of the sabotage activity and apprehend the culprits at the earliest.

The Prime Minister also directed the district hospital authorities to look after the injured and facilitate their early recovery.
