Vancouver - Vancouver Police are investigating a case of suspected water bottle tampering.

Just after 11:00 p.m. on August 26th, an employee at the PNE experienced dizziness and muscle weakness thirty minutes after consuming bottled water purchased from Hunky Bill's concession.  The employee was taken to hospital for examination and later released.

Vancouver Police are continuing their investigation and working closely with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Vancouver Coastal Health to uncover the source of the tampering. No further illnesses have been reported.

All precautions are being taken to ensure the safety of the public and those attending the PNE.
