PNE "Wild Mouse" has been torn down.Built in Germany in 1958. Setup in Playland in 1979. After 50 years of service the ride surcame to the forces of nature. We will miss the thrill of being scared,bashed around and the chattering of the wheels that sound like they"re falling off as the ride makes its way through the sharp turns,the white knuckles appear halfway into the ride or sooner.End of the" Wild Mouse" came on October 26,2008

What scared me about the Wild Mouse was the sandbags in the cars to weigh them down - THAT made me feel like I was going to come off the rails! Scariest ride at the PNE by far.
