Police detonate suspicious device at Seattle school
"This is Carlos Franco. I'm reporting from Seattle Washington. I am in the City of Kent at (Kentwood?) High School where I witnessed this suspicious device in the parking lot and bomb squad is now on the scene to dismantle the device along with a couple of cameras. I believe they're going to detonate the device, ooh, which they just did and I'll give a repeat phone call to see what else (??) finished. Bye."
*Update* -- Actually the city was Covington, and the device was
determined to be a students model of a nitrous-oxide assembly, created
with the intention of being a visual-aid for his friend to follow while
installing his own "NOS Kit." The student was alarmed when he learned
what all the commotion was about and promptly informed the Bomb
Disposal Unit about what his involvement and intention was with the
device. I was actually the individual who found and reported the device
to authorities, so was informed personally about the origin and
ultimate misunderstanding surrounding the "suspicious device." The
student was not charged with any crime, but was given a stern warning
and told to be more alert about the consequences of his actions.

Here is information I got from KIRO tv news :"COVINGTON, Wash. -- The King County Sheriff's
Department said a soda can with wires protruding from was found in the
parking lot of Kentwood High School.Video from Chopper 7 showed
a man in a bomb suit looking at what appeared to be a bag of sand, and
it appeared that there was no threat of danger."
Love the voice report, Carlos!
