Our dog barked like mad and we looked up out our picture window to see police swarming the area with a police dog doing a grid search of our rural road. They are searching for something. They went in and around all of the yards and out back in the pines. Colonel Williams lived only 3 kms. from here, so maybe they are searching the perimeters of his target area. Debra Rashotte is still missing. Please post her image everywhere!

Belleville News called as I was writing this to inquire if we saw a police search team out here.

Wish I knew what was happening! Will keep you posted!

Just learned that Deborah Rashotte has relatives here on Byer's Lane where the focus of the search is. She has been known to frequent the Tweed area. Police van, OPP out in force here!

Third sweep today, focusing on the Byer's salvage yard at the end of the road here.

Official, it is Deborah they are looking for article in Belleville paper

Seems the excitement has gone without any sign of Deborah Rashotte in Tweed. One of the fears is she was hitching to Tweed to see relatives and possibly picked up by Colonel Williams. They aren't ruling out any possibilities at this time. Anyone with information to her whereabouts please contact the OPP.
