KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police were searching Thursday for a blue Isuzu Rodeo, a silver or gray Pontiac G6 and a maroon car that might all be linked to the case of an innocent man killed in a shootout in Westport.

Chris Bartholomew, 21, was caught in the crossfire of a rolling gun battle near West 39th and Broadway streets in May 2007.Misty Kirwan, the victim's mother, asked anyone with information to come forward to help find her son's killer."Every day I have to think, 'What can I do today to keep his name and his face out there so people don't forget?' And every day, not that I don't relive it anyway, but I have to relive it again," Kirwan said.

Witnesses told police that four cars were involved in the shootout. Police said they have identified four people who were in a black Dodge Charger. But they are asking the public's help to identify the occupants of the other three cars.

Call the Crime Stoppers TIPS Hot Line at 816-474-TIPS (8477), text TIP452 plus a message to CRIMES (274637) or submit a tip online at kccrimestoppers.com.There is a $30,000 reward for anyone who can help solve the crime.
