NP Rank:
Poll-BC. Premier Campbell: "He's GodLike"
Opinion

BC's Premier Gordon Campbell has been quoted by Liberal Minions and Media as "GodLike".
BC has been going through some tough times with Crime and Little Punishment meted out, thanks to an ineffective and incompetent "Catch and Release Justice System, whereby "Gangland Hits" every few days, rampant Drug Wars daily on our streets, Massive Organized Criminal activity a daily occurence in every BC city and it seems a Liberal Governments nonchalent response towards a Surrey Mayor who stands up for her City constituents and is hit with violent threats by a Terrorist Group for her stance on terrorist fundraising activity happening in her city, resulting now her (Mayor) relying on Police protection at public outings. The list of whats wrong in this province is endless. The Status Quo continues unabated.
But if you think of the alternative political parties in this province, is it any wonder that even Premier Campbell himself believes in his "GodLike Status". Next years election will prove whether he will be "Resurrected as Premier or Crucified".
Vaughn Palmer, Vancouver SunPublished: Saturday, May 10, 2008VICTORIA - This time next year B.C. will be in the last weekend of the 2009 election campaign and, if the current opinion polls are any guide, the B.C. Liberals will be poised to win again.
The third majority government would put Premier Gordon Campbell in rare company. Among 33 B.C. premiers, only W.A.C. Bennett, Bill Bennett and Richard McBride did as well or better.
No one should underestimate Campbell's chances. Through a quarter-century in politics, his record is eight wins in nine contests, civic and provincial. Even in losing, he won more votes, though fewer seats, than the other guy.Of course, that streak tends to promote the view that he can do no wrong, not least among Liberal supporters.
