This is to be expected. People
enjoy reading about the lives
of other people, books that are
fiction but could actually happen.
Give British women a romance novel or a novel with a little raunchy sex and they're in heaven, a survey indicated. The poll of nearly 2,000 women between the ages of 45 and 60 found romantic fiction was the most popular reading fare, preferred by 35 percent of those surveyed, The Daily Telegraph reported Tuesday.

I completely agree with this. I read erotic romance all the time. I don't even think the age range is, or should be, limited to over 45's either - I'm younger than that. There are loads of great places to get good erotic romance these days too like Total-E-Bound or Ellora's Cave just to name a few. I'm a regular buyer at both. It's great escapism - and I'm sure my hubby appreciates it too, it gets me in the mood! :)

I also read these occasionally. I like to have several hours to read through one in one day.
