"I hope the preparations will reach 100 percent in a week," he said on Thursday.
The three forces had completed verification and certification processes for their respective main armaments to be used in the joint exercises code-named "Yudha Siaga", he said.
"Each of the three forces has completed the process. They also have provided technical directives to their personnel. To be sure, the main armaments to be used in the joint exercises must meet the standard requirements," he said.
He said the TNI would always give priority to the security of equipment and personnel during the event. "Security and safety will of course top the list of our priorities," he said.
The joint exercises designed to mark a century of national awakening and a decade of the TNI`s internal reforms will involve 2,418 personnel from the TNI Headquarters, 10,388 personnel from the Army, 13,150 personnel from the Navy and 4,615 personnel from the Air Force.
