Hillary "Sniper" story is growing. And there may be a even bigger story behind it. See below:

New York Times columnist Frank Rich notes that it was the Cleveland Plain Dealer's foreign affairs columnist, Elizabeth Sullivan, who first debunked Democratic presidential candidate Hillary CLinton's tale about landing "under sniper fire" in Bosnia in 1996. We put up the story a day after Sullivan wrote it and noted there was another story behind the story.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer's foreign-affairs columinist, Elizabeth Sullivan, was the first to debunk Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's tale about landing "under sniper fire" in Bosnia in 1996 - this story has become one of the biggest stories of the compaign season.

" Sen. Hillary Clinton tried to exude war cred when she breathlessly told Iowans in Dubuque last month about her and Chelsea's "corkscrew" landing at Bosnian airfield in 1996 and their dash from the plane to avoid "sniper fire". --- By the time she got there, the war was over. It was not an experience of war. It was experience after the war.... that was not an understanding of war; it's a perversion of it. ---

Here's a story behind the story It may even be a bigger story.

Sally Bedell Smith. a proven biographer about many important leaders, writes in Jan 8 issue of Newsweek magazine that it was Hillary Clinton who helped press Bill to break with the Eurpoean allies in 1995 to use force in Bosnia after she calculated, in part, that doing so would help his 1996 re-election.

President Bill Clinton had his own pre-emptive war. He gave the Serbs a deal everyone knew the Serbs would not take. He took the U.S. military into Bosnia to stop ethic cleansing. It directly caused ethic cleansing with up to 750 thousand Serbians and Roma Gypies fleeing for their lives. In the process thousands were killed. Many fled to Kosovo, only to find themselves in another war with the Serbians and Gypsies being targets. no matter what age they were. Children were massacred.

President Clinton invited Islamic fighters to help fight the war in Bosnia. Bosnia became a training center for terrorists with several later being involved in 9-11 horror.

Former General Wesley Clark who has stands near Hillary Clinton at her rallies is called the Butcher of Belgrade. He was responsible for bombing civilians in Belgrade. The U.S. spent more than two months bombing Serbia and Kosovo populations. President Clinton admitted in a newspaper story, that he had to use the Social Security Trust Fund to support his war efforts.
( Clinton also bombed an aspirin factory and consistently bombed Iraq during his time in office. )

Hillary was there in the background with her husband. The bloodletting in the Balkan wars was horrendous. Elizabeth Sullivan writes --- War in Bosnia was four little boys playing soccer on the street - suddenly sliced apart by a 100mm tank sheel, their corpses laid out on a cold slab at a hospital --- while their parents labored unknowingly in the fields, and a nurse who'd already seen too much couldn't cry anymore.

We suggest to everyone to rent a certain movie before they go out to vote. The title of the Movie is Savior. Dennis Quaid plays a former U.S. army officer who fights as a mercenary Serbian soldier. Search on the web for the story line. The movie gives a good portrayal about wars in the Balkans. The female lead character is killed. Prior to that she says - it is just war - after her family is decimated. The scenes about the killing fields are vivid. Who would go out of their way to prompt a war like this?

According to Sally Bedell Smith writing in Newsweek - Hillary would. What you see is what you get.

April 2, 2008 - Kevin O'Orien, Plain Dealer Deputy Editor, followed the Hillary "Sniper" story with a good commentary. He says the end may be near for Hillary. The Clinton "brand" on politics may be replaced. It would be interesting to watch many of their "friends" turn on them but I am afraid the old saying of Yogi Berra applys - it's not over until it's over.
O'Brien says Americans know their politicians lie but the lie has to make some sense. Hillary's tale about being under sniper fire when the war was over was not one of those times. President Clinton got away with the big lie just because he was president. Hopefully, Hillary will not get this opportunity.
