President Obama Praises Former President Bush
He called Bush's words, works and entire life an inspiration – an example of the "extraordinary ripple effect" one person can have.
This does not happen often
but it is good when a president
of one party is willing to praise
a former president of the other
party.
Julie Thomas chief executive of the Dallas-based Volunteer Center of North Texas – a Points of Light award winner – called Bush's effort a "beacon" and said it was invaluable to have presidents from both parties jointly promoting the cause."We can talk about it all day long at the local level, but to have a big voice that really resonates all over the country is just phenomenal," she said.
A president can do a lot
but when he is joined in
a project with a former
president even more can
be accomplished.

Bush 41 has been pretty good at engaging Presidents from the other party. This is shown by the joint adventures of him and Bill Clinton. Despite being on opposite sides in their politics, only Presidents know what it takes to hold that office.

True.
He has done much good since he left office.

Whatever the "O" says scares me...I don't trust his ambitions, policies, or idea's on where he wants to take America...for sure the "O" is a charmer...but a leader of a free nation, in my humble opinion, I don't think so...his Cabernet is surrounded by to many radical people that bend at the knees before the "O"...and to many have had to either leave their post or resign because of the affiliations with questionable organizations...my gut feeling tells me to start building a shelter...

Obama is still untested. By next spring some of his policies will be in place and we can then better judge him.
The signals so far are mixed.
