Presidents Bush and Putin In Black Sea Farewell

TASS NEWS AGENCY says of the Presidential meeting on the Black Sea:

"The Russian president appraised as “positive on the whole” the result of the nearly eight-year joint work with the US president, despite persisting differences.

President Putin: "I’d like to thank the US president that he responded to my proposal to meet here, in Sochi so as to sum up the result of the nearly eight-year joint work, and I believe that George will agree that this result is positive on the whole,” Vladimir Putin said after the talks with George Bush."

President Bush: The dialog was difficult sometimes. There were and still remain serious differences between the two countries on some problems or other.
