The 2010 Annual Pride Festival and Parade will be held June 5th and 6th and for the first time will be sponsored by the Pride Center of Western New York. Now in its 19th year, this annual event honors the contributions of local lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and organizations and attracts thousands of people to the City of Buffalo each year. This year’s theme will be “the Power of Pride” . . . the Power to be Yourself, the Power to be Counted, the Power to Love! So, get your Pride on and start thinking about what the Power of Pride means to you!

Buffalo's Pride Celebration Will Offer Variety Of Activities

Yesterday, Pride Center of WNY Inc. joined by Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown raised the Pride Rainbow Flag over City Hall in a ceremony to kick-off Pride Weekend.

On Friday, June 4th, Color: A Celebration of Local LGBT Art, will open at 6:00 pm in the 464 Gallery, located on Amherst Street. The show runs June 4th through June 17th.
