VIDEO Iran Shahs Son Killed Himself In Boston
Boston resident Alireza Pahlavi was pronounced dead on arrival after police were summoned to his home by a 911 call Tuesday. Ali died of a gunshot wound to his head which appeared to be self-inflicted. I saw this article posted today about him and I am sad for him and his family. He was a very outgoing man with alot of class. I personally knew him and spent time at his apartment while I was in Boston. My sister and I introduced him to another friend and we had many get togethers. We were close to him in Brighton, MA and during those times he had just moved here from Iran and he did not know many people. It was amazing how well he spoke English. He was a student and he did very well for himself. He was very generous and very well-mannered. We should always remember the good in his heart. He made many friends over the years and he was a smart man. I feel bad that we lost touch. I never saw him again after I moved away from the area but I will always remember him fondly. I would like to send my condolences to Reza and his family for the death of both of his siblings. I really don't understand why this happened twice because suicide is so very painful just once. Not only for the deceased but for everyone in the family. Pahlavi, 44, "died from a gunshot wound that apparently was self-inflicted," said Jake Wark, a spokesman for the Suffolk district attorney's office. The police were brought to the South End where Mr. Pahlavi had made his home in the past few years.
The youngest son of the late shah of Iran was found dead Tuesday of an apparent suicide at his home in Boston, after he had "struggled for years to overcome his sorrow," his brother said. "Once again, we are joined with mothers, father and relatives of so many victims of these dark times for our country," the shah's oldest son, Reza Pahlavi, wrote on his website in announcing the death of his brother, Alireza Pahlavi.
