Her Majesty The Queen arrives at The Windsor Castle Royal Tattoo 2009

Prince Phillip celebrates his 88th Birthday June 10th what a lucky guy he is to last on this earth as long as he has. Perhaps his secret for long life has something to do with financial freedom and absolute luxury of having the Queen as his loving and gracious wife. Phillip it has to be said is not very popular with the British people he has over the years seemed to be a tad on the eccentric side. Gaffe has become a keyword when thinking of the prince who on many occasions has spouted a load of rubbish comments in not so sweet dulcet tones. However on his birthday the horses and soldiers and flags along with his family will all cheer and wish him a happy birthday. Well done Phillip old boy you’re most certainly a born survivor.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.

Nice post.  In spite of the luxury, it must be stifling to have every little utterance quoted in the press.  Somehow his gaffes make him a tad more human.

Good thing princes don't kill their father kings in order to get throne anymore...

Otherwise, they would probably would be dead at early ages!
