Maine's marriage equality law will be put on the ballot for voters in November. Ads against the ballot initiative have aired to protect the law that allows all citizens of Maine to posses the same rights.
The Governor, John Balacci, has granted a petition by anti-gay marriage activists to put the law to a vote.
“I fully support this legislation, and believe it guarantees that all Maine citizens are treated equally under our State’s civil marriage laws,” Governor Baldacci said. “But I also have a Constitutional obligation to set the date for the election once the Secretary of State has certified that enough signatures have been submitted. I am confident that Maine voters will make the right decision on this important issue when they cast their ballots in the fall.”

I think it's important to have ads of this nature on television to raise awareness.

Why should they not be on the air? What people do in there bedroom is there business and who they want to marry should be the same.

Freedom is not absolute whether you are a homosexual, or a bisexual, even a heterosexual. These people who favors and tolerate this same sex marriage will pass away, do they know how the future will be? Ah, it's the pleasure and freedom for now, nevermind the future.
What we should prioritize now is how the third gender will be accepted, not how to legalize perversion.
Again, freedom is not absolute whether you are a homosexual, or a bisexual, even a heterosexual.
