Prostitutes in Richmond offering Unsafe Sex on Craigslist

     Prostitutes in Richmond B.C. are advertising unsafe sex on the popular classified ad site
 Craigslist. These prostitutes are mostly Asian women between the ages of 18 to 27 years
old, some may be underage girls.   They are offering their services in upscale condos in the
center of Richmond near the Lansdowne and Richmond malls.

      The Craigslist ads the  prostitutes are placing are very descriptive and leave nothing to the imagination. Some examples are ( happy ending , full service , whatever you want,69, bbbj C.I.M.)  which is unprotected oral sex. Abbreviations are used to describe their services. Pictures are included with many of the postings. The police have been aware of Craiglist being used for selling sex for some time but haven't been able to stop it.   It is most likely that some of these girls used to work out of massage parlous but left to start their own business.   

The Provincial Center for Disease Control is probably not to happy about the sex trade worker selling unsafe sex.

                 How Do They Get Away With It ?  

   Sex trade workers using the therapeutic services section of Craigslist say they are offering a massage service. http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rch/ths/   The reality is you probably can get a massage but also much more than that.They get away with it because it is probably being ignored by the authorities .

               A little history about prostitution in Richmond

    About twelve to fifteen years ago there was around two dozen massage parlors that offered sexual services in Richmond. The City of Richmond got a lot of complaints about them ., mostly from Asian wives. A few massage where actually in neighbor hoods which caused a lot of problems. The city was forced into putting some  strict bylaws in place. Some of them are:

• The girls have to be fully clothed.
  

• The massage rooms have to have a window in the door and the door can not be locked.
  

• The girls has to be in the country legally and 19 or older in age.
  

• There are strict operating hours.
  

• No sex acts are allowed

     If you where caught violating these bylaws the City of Richmond could suspend your   , 2 weeks , a month  Repeat offenders could loose here business licence for good.  There where suspensions and licenses taken away. Today we are down to around 7 or 8 massage parlor  that offer full service. These full service massage parlor are all in the bussiness area of Richhmond

       A lot of massage services are in private condos out of site and probably don't get a lot of complaints. The girls are happy they can advertise what  they want. They post there cell phone numbers in their ads and become a mobile office and they probably are making more money most likely tax free. Update to story
