The color of someone's skin should not be an issue at any time - black, white, whatever, these are human beings that we're talking about - and children, no less, INNOCENT CHILDREN, that have been subjected to racaism at your hoity-toity little club. I think that you should all be ashamed of yourselves for turning those 65 children away because of the color of their skin. What in the world makes you so superior to others???? Who told you that you had the right to turn away any black person???? Just because the color of your skin is white does not give you the right to discriminate against others. you deserve to be shut down for being racist. The message you're sending to any child of color is that of rejection because of their color. I am disgusted by your racism and your lame and bogus apology. Those children did nothing to you or anyone at your club yet you kick them out. Those children, their parents and everyone of color deserve a proper apology for the amount of disrespect given to them.

The Valley Swim Club needs to be shut down!! Shame on them for their disgusting behavior and for allowing their members to insult these innocent children. I hope they get the pants sued off of them!

It is disgusting that such a place is allowed to exist. How dare they think that a child's color will determine if their children will become a victim of an attack or robbery. Those people are no better than the bums on the street as far as I'm concerned. Their racist attitudes are what will be passed onto their children and continue the ugly cycle of racism. Would they have the same reaction if the Obama children were to attend their facility or is their racism limited to people who they feel do not measure up their elite standards? I think they would allow the Obam children in for publicity purposes only and refer to them as the token black kids.

If I were a member of that club, I would resign immediately! I hope they have to pay in court for this despicable action. How dare they? I hope that the families of those children know that not all of us (whites) out there are like that. In fact, everyone I know is outraged by this. May your children heal and prosper in the future.

Well I do think the mistake was inviting clubs to come and swim and then turning them away. However I do believe we have the right to be with whatever race we want to. I do not believe that we should be forced to swim with, live with, work with, hang out with other races if we do not want to. That is a form of communism. This is suppose to be a FREE country but I don't see it that way anymore. It is more about suing anytime you can't have your way.
