Protesters glue themselves to statue at British parliament
A story is breaking that four climate protesters have glued themselves to the statue of Viscount Falkland outside the central lobby of the Westminister parliament.
Police have sealed off part of the Houses of Parliament after protesters apparently glued themselves to a statue.
Three women and a man attached themselves to the statue of Viscount Falkland outside the historic central lobby.
They are believed to be climate protesters.
The area the demonstrators occupied is accessible to the public via security checks.
The statue - which is very near the Commons chamber - was one used in the past by Suffragettes, who chained themselves to it to campaign for the vote for women.
