Occupy Wall Street Returns to Zuccotti Park without Tents, Generators

The Occupy Wall Street protesters have returned to Zuccotti Park, on the same day that they were evicted. A 1500-person General Assembly is currently underway.

A judge ruled that Brookfield Properties, owners of Zuccotti Park, had the right to control how the demonstrators used the public space, in terms of what sorts of materials they could bring in. This means no tents or generators.
