Psychologically Trumatized Children fom the Conflict zone .

During visit to newly arrived families from different parts of Malakand Division in Jalozai 19 children were found psychologically traumatized.

Due to heavy bombing, mortar shelling and displacement these children become mentaly traumatized. They are crying in the night and laying mute on the floor in the day time. They eat very little and they lost weight day by day. Theses children have all the sign and symptoms which show that these children are greatly traumatized. These children are also malnourished.These children need psychosocial support , love and care.

Malakand is a region in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan. Named after Malakand Agency, a part of this region, it covers one third of the total area of the province.The area of Malakand Region is 29,872 sq. Km and its population is 5.52 million. Thanks Sara , your information regarding Malakad is very useful for me and for the readers of NP. It is time to high light the miseries of the people of Malakand and to find out sustainable solution to the Problem.
