PTV managing director getting 1.2 Million per month

We are in recession and so do our government claims about PTV that it is facing recession but the facts highlight just opposite of it.

According to a news report in DAWN on April 17, PTV managing director Yousuf Baif Mirza is getting worth 1.2 million rupees per month and additional “Three Percent” corporation advertising revenue plus 50 percent increase every year in his three year of contract as PTV MD.

Federal government has continuously claimed the news of recession only for cutting down the subsidies on different products being provided to masses but what is this? Is this the credibility of our government??

While it is a fact that salaries in our electronic media are very good and second to none but a government corporation running on Public money can’t afford this lavish money going to waste for just a one man.

While PTV is paying such lavish money to one man called MD, many interns in PTV are working without getting any money at all. Wouldn’t it be a good idea to give some money to interns so that seek a great career for themselves in the future
