The frenzy of election day has long since faded, and the only remaining evidence of President Obama's inauguration is miles of trampled-dead lawn at the nations capitol. 

However the nation has reversed its policies on funding for family planning (unfpa.org), Guantanamo, and government secrecy to name a few. Something happened in the U.S. and even the French know what it was, L'Obamania; lobamania.blogspot.com In short the youth, the minorities, the majority, the public, and the world, like union miners took a stand.

Indeed, I think that people want peace so much that one of these days governments had better get out of the way and let them have it. Dwight D. Eisenhower
