The frenzy of election day has long since faded, and the only remaining evidence of President Obama's inauguration is miles of trampled-dead lawn at the nations capitol. 

However the nation has reversed its policies on funding for family planning (unfpa.org), Guantanamo, and government secrecy to name a few. Something happened in the U.S. and even the French know what it was, L'Obamania; lobamania.blogspot.com In short the youth, the minorities, the majority, the public, and the world, like union miners took a stand.

Indeed we (european) are looking at the US with loving eyes again...You finally made the sign we were waiting for! and French Democrats (among other around the world) wish you all the best,  in the coming years, for peace, hope and the all challenges we'll overpass together.
