The Irish republic is mounting its biggest ever security operation of the start of a visit by Queen Elizabeth. It is the first visit to Ireland by a British monarch for a century. It is a sign that both countries are ready for a new chapter in their relationship. It is both Symbolic and historic as this comes 800 years after King Henry II  invaded Ireland and 100 years after the Queen's grandfather, King George V visited as a ruler, after an up-rising, after a partitioning, after the troubles, Queen Elizabeth came to draw the line finally under all the troubles in the past.
While the Monarch’s visit had gained wide acceptance there are a few who oppose her move as is evident in the fact that an improvised explosive device found on a bus on Monday night, was made safe by the Irish army.
