A Babel Fish Opinion

I had a question given to me by a Muslim; he asked “Who could unite the planet”, this was concerning an article to do with Jesus

Jesus will return it makes sense from this side of the story” by Islamicscholars.

The problem with his religious view is if Jesus did return the Christians, Jews and Muslims would most probably say the guy was a fraud. There would be bitterness and argument of which only a miracle could stop. The problem in reality Jesus the great philosopher was only a man with a view that Judaism was harsh and he thought god a more forgiving and caring god. However the Roman emperor Flavius Valerius Constantinus needed a new religion to make the empire easier to control. The Council of Nicaea was the first to claim Jesus to be a son of god.

My answer to Islamicscholars question is as follows:

The person that could unite the world and bring peace would have to be a very special man or woman. Ideally they would be someone learned in all religious customs plus respectful to each and every faith. But that person would need to be free of religious indoctrination thus not to bare any favouritism. My opinion states that a possibly a weak atheist and a follower of Spinoza’s would be the ideal choice.

This person would of course have to gain a position of power to achieve the aims of unity and peace that means that this person would need to be a politician, non-corrupt above scrutiny and above all a good narrator and negotiator. A very human and wise understanding and caring person, but such a person would need friends, fellow politician and statesmen that think a like.

My article  medinat-yisrael-a-jewish-problem may of be of interest to those in how Rome effected religion of which as caused much of today’s political and religious turmoil.

Foot note: I am a weak atheist of whom respects all faiths and opinions, because I write about religion from an atheists stand point does not make me a person that hates religion I just question its value.

Babel-Fish, I like this story. It's good stuff.  Very interesting, as are the other articles of similar content you have written concerning this topic.  It may not be a person who will unite the planet but a concept, one of which comes straight from the Islamic socio-economic theory and the re-distribution of wealth, The Third Solution. Also I wonder if you could post your links to the "Acorn Project" for further reading? Thanks!

The Utube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agW6-TkNyhs&feature=user is very intreaging as with your wonderful article. I am pleased that you brought the third solution into this debate. However human nature is flawed and the greed and selfishness of the rich and powerful blocks the path of a great solution. It nice to see people of faith looking for such solutions remembering that non believers are striving on similar paths.

I feel that the internet is one of the best tools to spread good ideas and have sensible debate with like minded people that want peace. I of course will publish links to the Acorn Project.

Thank you for your kind comments on my articles. Their views may be conflicting but the object follows the same path of thought that being a solution to human conflict caused by bloody minded people with selfish intent.
