A few days back, Keith Vaz, a prominent British MP, who hails from Goa, India was exposed to have abused the power of his office to help out an equally corrupt associate, whose lavish gifts has undoubtedly influenced Vaz's actions. For those of you who are not quite familiar with the crisis in Sri Lanka, he is the offiial[sic] mouthpiece of the LTTE terrorists in the British Parliament. His associations with the LTTE front organizations in Britain have already been pointed out by the Sri Lankan authorities, only to be lost in a sea of LTTE propaganda.

An interesting question arises from the above state of affairs is whether Vaz's interests were really with the Tamils fighting for their (imaginary) homeland or with the monies that flowed from the LTTE coffers.

In fact the LTTE are the masters in the art of 'quid pro quo.' They had the audacity to bribe the US State Dept officials, in order to get their ban in the US overturned, only to get caught in the act, red-handed. However, at least they seem to have succeeded in getting hold of a former Associate Deputy Attorney General, a certain Bruce Fein. Bruce Fein's blatant attempts to discredit the GoSL and their war against LTTE terrorists, only serve to confirm that he indeed is the "devil's advocate."

Erik Solheim, a senior minister of the Norwegian Government, who was the chief mediator between the GoSL & LTTE during the 2002 ceasefire, was exposed by a Norwegian Anti-terror body to have exchanged lavish gifts with none other than the LTTE supremo himself.

It is widely speculated that LTTE has a quite high profile payroll which consists of heads of states, government officials as well as high ranking officials of international organizations such as the UN itself. During Koffi Annan's days, his office was so efficient in denouncing the assassination of a LTTE terrorist leader that even Colombo received his statement prior to the arrival of the actual news of the assassination.

What smells fishier is that a recent statement issued by the office of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights consisted of the exact numbers and facts quoted by the Eelam (pro LTTEE) propaganda. Ms. Navi Pillay may very well be a person of highest integrity, but she certainly has among her most trusted staff, a soul sold to the devil.
