I don't know exactly in what context nader was using his reference, all I can say is I cried upon the first few minutes of hearing Obama's speech because of the torture and pain that has been created by ignorance and greed regardless of color. I think this is what Nader cares about and is simply drawing attention to the fact that it is going to take like Obama said every person to do what they can and what is right to create awareness and protection for people.

Nader sounds like a "sore loser."  Some people would rather see this country go up in smoke than to turn it over into the hands of a capable Black Man.

People are basically trying to crucify Nader for being HONEST. This guy is the most honest person you will ever see run for president. If you ask him a question about somthing he doesn't know about, he doesn't sit there and try to bullshit an answer, he just said "I don't know enough about that subject to elaborate".

Thank you Nader for being honest. We need more runners like him.

Ok, so I get it Nader is being honest, great we all love honesty. This isn't a matter of honesty its a matter of tact.  If Nader is this tactless then he has no right to be near the presidential arena

Nader is just mad because America doe not want him.  America picked Obama in a 338 electorial landslide.  Enough said.

The complexity of this man, the tirelessness of his crusade to maintain a connection with those ideals of American culture that are best described as "populist," is proof of his character--as he is way beyond the need for faint praise, even as it is often meting-out as a preamble to snide comments, like those posted here. And true to form, cowards  nip and run, as the fury of those who regurgitate pablum without critical consideration shows how far we have devolved as a people.

For the real disconnect here is that we have become such a hoard of malignant narcissists, who haven't the pluck to stand up to any of the popular assumptions as fostered by the corporatist media. Beside this, we generally haven't the ingenuity to break the coma of our self-dreaming, let alone espouse a unsqueamish position that might involve class, race or any alternative world view beside the two sanctioned by the self same Prolefeed from whence our minds have come. As in this, we presume to be progenitors of our own thoughts, but can scant recall from wence our clutch of mental jewelry has come.

Regardless, we deserve what we get, so shut him up as a closet racist even though he's Lebanese. Paint him as a kook just because he says things that run counter to your self-assured middle class indoctrination. Malign him, as you will, but this only shows how easily fixed ideas can form in  those who lack full possession of their faculties....

I'm glad we stepped away from the brink of fascism, but the party isn't over with Obama, by a long shot. And this sentiment has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with the end of the Enlightenment and the reintroduction of the night of the long knives...
