May 21, 2011will mark the ednd of the world, according to some old guy.

If the world is going to end on May 21, 2011, you might as well go out with a bang. Many people plan to hold a Rapture party to have one last good time before Doomsday approaches.

Some organizations are planning major Rapture party events. In North Carolina, a local atheist group is having a Rapture After Party.

They're not alone. Here is a list of Rapture parties around North America.

Some who want to spend their remaining time on earth with friends and family are are organizing a private Rapture party. Some sites have come up with Rapture Party Ideas for food and activities.

As for Doomsday party food, deviled eggs and angel's food cake seem to be popular choices. To drink, maybe a little Kool-Aid a la Jim Jones. Others suggest a more Biblical menu with fishes and loaves of bread, not to mention some wine that was made out of water.

As for what to wear, one Twitter user had some excellent Doomsday wardrobe suggestion:
