A protestor holds a placard during a Ban Cluster Bombs Protest outside Raytheon in Derry on Wednesday afternoon calling for a ban on the use of Cluster Bombs.
The "Ban Bus" is a grass roots advocacy project which is touring Ireland during May to raise public awareness about the global catastrophe of cluster bombs. In the last two weeks of May, Ireland will host the international conference that will negotiate a treaty to ban these weapons. The Ban Bus is presenting an in depth insight into what these weapons are and why they must be banned.
The group is fronted by John Ronsted an Australian Photojournalist, Mette Eliseussen - a Norwegian Sociologist and Rae McGrath a former British Serviceman and deminer.
