Technically brilliant sound recording, with a message, from this Anglo-Swedish group. Fronted by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Johnny Borrell, who grew up in Muswell Hill, North London but yearns for New York.
Bjorn Agren was living in a two-bedroom flat in Camden, with 12 other Swedes and selling jeans to tourists on Carnaby Street before responding to an advert from Johnny Borrell stating that "guitarist wanted, no pentatonics."
