Rob Wilson MP met with local residents in Earley on Friday morning to discuss their concerns about speeding traffic and road safety on Pitts Lane.

The meeting was organised by Helen Hobson, Earley resident and mother, who is concerned about the danger of speeding in the Pitts Lane area. She organised this opportunity for local residents and neighbours to voice their concerns directly to Rob. Mr Wilson was also presented with a petition from Pitts Lane residents who want speed restrictions enforced.

Rob said, “I was delighted to support Helen and her neighbours. I believe, alongside local residents, that Pitts lane is dangerous. The lack of obvious signage means that people often speed and there are no traffic calming measures to prevent it. I have discussed a number of improvements with local residents and will be asking Wokingham Borough Council to do what it can to make this road safer.”
