The Real Sarah Palin?

Before talking about the lapse of judgment by John Mc Cain in the selection of a running mate after a fifteen minute interview, I would like to say that the Elections of 2008 in the United States of America are an act of pure mediocrity. The candidates from the Democratic Party such as Barack Obama and Joe Biden as well as the Republican Party under John Mc Cain and Sarah Palin have nothing to offer except the tired policies of the past. I would like to bring into the discussion the accomplishments of Sarah Palin and what they have done to Alaska. I would also like to start by eliminating her personal life from the agenda by giving a brief review.

The US Mainstream Media screams to the world that Sarah Palin's 17 year old daughter is pregnant and should get married. The US Mainstream Media should remember that they started the fire with their tabloid reporting, and promotion of irresponsibility, excess state, immoral behaviour, lack of knowledge of history, anything goes, and violence. The attitude promoted by the US Mainstream Media was also promoted in the spheres of government with Clinton and Lewinsky, Chenoweth and her sexual adventures in the Idaho Room of the US Capitol in Washington DC, Hyde and Burton with their adulterous affairs, John F. Kennedy and his mistress, Ted Kennedy and Chappaquiddick, Judge Barbuto [Ohio] and his behaviour of sexual favors from prostitutes, and Wilbur Mills with Fannie Fox.

According to the Web Page of the Governor of the State of Alaska, Sarah Palin served two terms as a member of the Wasila City Council in Alaska and two terms as Mayor of Wasila before becoming the eleventh Governor of Alaska in 2006. Her period in Wasila Politics was characterized by reducing taxes and increasing services. Ever since she was elected Governor of Alaska, Alaska invested Five Billion Dollars in state savings, made changes in education funding, and created the Senior Benefits Program with the purpose of helping Low Income Alaskans who are Senior Citizens. Sarah Palin is also Chairman of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission [which is a Government Agency that promotes Oil and Natural Gas Drilling and the Conservation of Natural Resources]. Sarah Palin is also Chairman of the National Resources Committee of the National Governor's Association. Sarah Palin is also the creator of the Petroleum Systems Integrity Office [another government department which supervises the maintenance of oil and natural gas equipment]. While these accomplishments sound great in the eyes and ears of the beholder, I am always reminded of the song and verse by Billy Joel: "It's Still Rock And Roll to me" which means the same old tired policies of Washington.

It is also known that Sarah Palin also betrays people when it suits her political agenda. In the beginning of 2008, the Alaskan Independence Party [to which Sarah Palin once belonged to in the 1990's] held their convention. The website You Tube has videos regarding Sarah Palin and the Alaskan Independence Party. Sarah Palin gave her support to the Alaskan Independence Party [since it is the Third Largest Party in Alaska] before stabbing the Movement in the back and becoming a Big Government Republican. It should be remembered that the Alaskan Independence Party is a believer in the Independence of Alaska from the failed state that has become the United States of America. Sarah Palin should choose between her loyalty to Alaska and loyalty to a society that has become corrupt. Does John Mc Cain want a person who would betray him in the same vein that a cause has been betrayed?

While I am witnessing the United States Governing Society inventing more drama to hang themselves with, I am voting Libertarian for a return to common sense, morality, decency, and responsibility, as well as less government interference. If the Citizens of the USA want real change, they should vote Libertarian [in all spheres of government], Bob Barr, Wayne Allyn Root, Horning [Indiana], Superdell [Utah], and Munger [North Carolina].

AlvarezGalloso, I like this story. It's good stuff.

Well written, even if I have to disagree with one of your views. The libertarian party doesn't have a ghost of a chance to win, so the lesser of two evils is Obama. That's who I'm voting for, and that's my story and I'm stickin to it

Thank you for your comments even though I disagree with you. I am still sticking to my story of both conventional parties being the two evils. After all, if Libertarians and Greens do not have a chance of winning, why do the Republicans and Democrats use discriminatory laws to make sure that they are never heard. In a government that is supposed to be the bulwark of democracy and freedom, all voices should be heard.

AlvarezGalloso, I like this story. It's good stuff. The two parties have a strangle hold on the political process.  It is time for pepole to vote for who they agree with rather then who they think will win or defaughting to the two paties because a party doen't have chance to win.
