Barry Artiste Op/Ed

Okay, here's the deal, scam, poop. You want a house, can't afford it, unless you like so many run a Marijuana Grow Op out of your basement.

The Realtor's, Banks, Builders and the City of Friggin Vangroovy have an answer to your prayers. Okay wait for it~~ Hey people "turn a portion of your home into a in-law suite as a money maker to help you pay your crushing mortgage payments every month!"

Now as many who read my Op/Ed know, my job here is in the detail and facts of any story I Op Ed on. I read this story in friggin disbelief, all of these Fairy Wonks really just want you to go bankrupt! Why? Hmmmm, let me put it in layman terms, these corpulent assholes in this story, by the way who underestimated our Olympic Dream by well over a billion dollars plus fail to tell the "Starry Eyed Sheep called Vangroovians" who may be reading this incredible News Breaking Vancouver Sun story!

That fly in the excrement that is yours is "any income you get from renting a portion of your home is TAXABLE!!"  Boy imagine the fun and games you will have eating out of a dumpster in East Hasting as your new home, when the Feds get through with you when they seize your home! OOOO WEEEEE!  Good Times courtesy of "Miss Information" who seems to reside at the Vangroovy Sun Newspaper chain!  So much for checking all the angles, and we wonder why people or sheep as I call them go bankrupt in these Billion dollar Ponzi Schemes?

So people so much for the savings you thought you would get. Cause guaranteed these Prissy Colon Tasters of the Left will not tell you that when you put pen to paper to stretch yourself credit wise to the breaking point!

Oh, I forgot one more thing, they obviously overlooked, ever hear about House, Fire, Flood, Theft and Liability Insurance? Ya gots to get that too, god forbid a tenant burns you out of house and home, or falls down one of your stairs or sidewalk. Because if this happens, again think of the scrumptious eats you will fighting over in that dumpster with the homeless!

Don't even get me started on separate hydro electric meters, gas meters, water meters, sprinkler system in the tenants home. What about appliances, washer, dryer, fridge, stove, dishwasher. My Stars the list is endless~~!  That should cost an extra 10 to 20 grand or more to install and supply. But hey good luck with that!

Hey, just call me Mr. Cheerful. betcha that Marijuana Grow Op is looking like a mighty fine mortgage helper now eh?

Course just wait till the Feds get wind of how many homeowners rented their homes out for thousands a day to tourists during the Olympics, courtesy once again on the advice of the City of Vangroovy, Realtor's and others who think not before you act!

In ending, I have finally figured out how the Reverend Jim Jones got those hundreds of his flock to drink that grape juice at Jonestown! Much like this news story below, he neglected to tell his followers the whole story!

Nanny, granny or secondary suites are key for home ownership in Metro Vancouver

By Derrick Penner, VANCOUVER SUN

October 12, 2009 5:01 PM

VANCOUVER - They go by many names — granny, nanny, in-law or student — but secondary rental suites in homes have quickly provided more than a bit of assistance to homeowners in Metro Vancouver, Canada’s most expensive real estate market.

“A lot of people need the mortgage helper,” Carolyn Heaney, manager of mortgage development in Vancouver for the Bank of Montreal, said in an interview.

“For them, [rental income] allows them to build equity in a home, and without that mortgage assistance, they could never afford to be in that property.”

Ah...Barry...but you don't tell the Fed you are renting it out.... You tell them you give them space because they are your friends.....Friends are more than willing to help donate some money per month for the household.....so where is the problem? This is how Religion works....They give you a free Pew to sit in and occupy, while you give them a donation each week.... God Bless Barry... Loved the Article.... haaaaaaaa.aaa

Problem being my friend, the tenants are allowed to include their rent on their taxes!  Once the building permit is registered and it is deemed a in law suite, the Feds soon find out through the grapevine! And real quick!

So they tell them they paid zero for rent. The donation they gave was for their favorite religion.. Feds can do nothing about it. Its Ok for them to try and suck up my tax dollars to support their murdering military machine, but not Ok for me to be friends to my tenants? I beg to differ Barry.

It must be nice to have so many friends who are tenants, but doesnt quite work out that way. HA

Why doesn't it quite work that way?

Love it when people feel they are above the system, leaves more taxes for the rest of us to pay.

So it's you who funds the corrupt military Uh? And quite amazed by your comment Hugh...given it wasn't I who crashed the banks, wasn't I who lied about 911....and you call me above the law? You are quite embarrassing.

Anything that pushes up the value of MY house in Van is fine with me!  I wouldn't want people living in my basement but if others do it and it raises all property values who am I to complain.  I have no problem with the added density as I come from living in a Yaletown condo.

Which bubble are you guys living in? Drive around most of Greater Vancouver or look through Craiglist  and look at the sheer number of basement suites ALREADY rented or for rent. If it wasn't for basement suites there would be no way a large number of people and families could afford to live in the lower mainland. Wake up and have conversations that make sense.
