Is the recession solely the result of Banks generating toxic waste through bad debt from the cycle of digital money in its travels through Global Networks exploiting “nodes”, where businesses be either opened or closed, in seeking higher returns?. It appears to be one factor given today’s digital communication technology which allows “the whispers of failure” to be broadcast Globally quicker than one can lick a stamp but what of ordinary people whose lives have become rich pickings into the hands of a “profit orientated” Government that cares little towards its own People, their Societies or the Nation.

In the beginning people, their needs and Social Welfare was directly provided for by the UK Government in return that their paymasters contribute 25% of earnings in taxation however such responsibility and accountability has subsequently been “floated off” in many respects into the Private Sector such that “regulators” be deployed as interfaces between the people and its Government, while sandwiched between is both duplicity and multiplicity in the Gov’s need to promote financial competition. Former PM Blair announced to the people that “choice is good” but never mentioned the REAL COST to taxpayers both financially and socially?. <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />Britain’s Manufacturing Base has been allowed to decline in favour of Imports making the Country a “Nation of Shop Keepers” and Service providers [ Tourism / Educating Foreign Students following the Incorporation of Colleges 1997 – Uk Student loans following as “choice”! ).

JOB INSTABILITY, RISING PRICES, CHARACTER and FINANCIAL RISK

In terms of competing service providers tax payers are now expected to continually chase affordable lower prices else face substantially higher ones than their neighbors even though sharing the same gas pipe or electricity pylon!. Compounding this workforces are also expected to change jobs too giving rise to rising short term contracts of employment reflecting fluctuations in customer Databases through consumers chasing better deals. Of the pricing structures available is the lowest the real price or simply lower relative to the higher price - relatively speaking?. Long term job stability has become one of long term instability leading to longer CV’s and possible doubt by prospective employers as to whether people are merely Company visitors awaiting better job opportunities [ distrust ] all while they fund the Criminal Records Bureau [ CRB ] as to character references for new employees. As to the Financial Service Sector LOW RISK is about JOB STABILITY such that borrowing be repaid but given the sea of change orchestrated by the Government in terms of competition and the buoyancy of Stock Markets the Financial Service Sector is now positioned between the devil and the deep blue sea in its needed dealings to remain afloat!. Even at the UK Treasury the staff turnover in a single year amount to some 75% forcing an employment merry-go-round but what effect is this having upon peoples moral?. Under New Labour it became far easier to borrow [ deregulation ] supported by “open cheque books” in the expectations that such Companies gain commission through the onward sale of such debt to long term debt companies which then “register” the assets as being theirs until final payment be made [ eg: U S Trust and Securities clearing House ] but who owns what prior to that last payment given that a portfolio of British Mortgages crossed the Atlantic through the failure of the Northern Rock Bank?.

Tax payer exploitation – The bonus culture

During 2008 as the “credit crunch” loomed UK Civil Servants within the Government pocketed £128 million in bonuses against a backdrop of failure [ SEE DATE ORDER LISTING BELOW - BONUSES ] while competing Public Services distanced off by Regulators pocketed bonuses too!. All at a time when Gov Ministers were voting on their pay rises and attempting to conceal their expenses from full Public view. As the Credit crunch loomed ever nearer a “measure” of where Tax Payers money was being accumulated appeared in the Media as “lists” of Business Profits became known [ Approx -British Gas £576,000,000; HSBC £12.2bn; Morrisons rise of 66%; Tesco £2,850,000,000; Marks & Spencer's £1,000,000,000; BP oil profit £4,400,000,000 expected and Sainsbury £272,000,000 in just 28 weeks! ]. As energy costs rose the Treasury were to nett some £1,000,000,000 all while 17.5% Purchase Tax was being levied on consumer spending adding to the Governments coffers.

In the UK V.A.T [ Value added Tax ] was, in the beginning, a Tax on luxury Items for those having money to SPEND however by applying it to most items on tax payer shopping lists the Government became solely dependant upon it thus taxing the Nation at 42.5% [ 25% Income Tax + 17.5% VAT ] from employment and spending. Of course spending is not just about spending is it, its also about Investor high returns driving off-shore factory conveyor belts that increase in angular velocity churning out goods to which consumers must keep pace in purchasing to maintain jobs in Manufacture, Jobs in trading [ added costs ] to jobs in final sales [ shops & inflated consumer prices on which THEN VAT is levied ]. Obviously given such dependency its not too difficult to understand why PM Brown announces that everyone must SPEND SPEND SPEND in stimulating the Economy [ Britain – A Nation of Shop Keepers said Napoleon ].

GOVERNMENT INDIRECTNESS - UNACCOUNTABILITY and IRRESPONSIBILITY

Issue (1) - In 2005 PM Blair [ The Youngest PM EVER dictating the biggest radical changes in more than 300 years ] was delivered tonnes of coal at No 10 by Greenpeace protesters and in a speech Mr Blair announced that "The blunt truth about the politics of climate change is that no country will want to sacrifice its economy in order to meet this challenge".

Mr Blair was perhaps correct in his words but since wisdom comes with age did he “run” the Nation down a path towards changing too quickly in not allowing such change to be reflected back as to its positiveness?. Mr Blairs New Labour was also about “spin” and given spin it opened up a spin feedback mechanism whereby Mr Blair created mirrors. As to climate change how was New PM Brown to “U” Turn on PM Blair’s words?. The only solution that Mr Brown had was to be indirect and as oppose to stepping from “a” to “b” to effect change, he was forced to use the entire alphabet to implement CHANGE in going from “a” to “b”. Firstly Oil price rose then Carbon bandings were to be introduced along with showroom taxes to lower vehicular usage in meeting EU Climate change targets. Although Energy Companies were to enjoy huge profits the Government clearly wanted car Industry gates closed and padlocked in not talking any “hints” from Mr Dalrling that the Industry must change!. In not been open and direct the whole economy had to suffer in the need to become greener.

Issue (2) – The Mr Blair “National Identity Cards” Scheme proposal is rejected by the Government.

Through Identity theft the Banking Industry looses vast amounts of money each year and in 2007 a Government “think Tank” suggested that Banks could operate an insurance “no claims bonus” for people whom protect their own IDENTITY however by the END of 2007 computer data discs begin to go missing from Government Departments containing the personal data of some 7.25 million families along with the identities of hundreds of people in Witness protection programmes. At the time Mr Darling blamed the mistake on a Junior Official at HMRC however not raising any questions as to why a Junior Official at HMRC was given the responsibility of handling a huge amount of sensitive data towards a Nation. More DATA LOSSES subsequently followed having NOT LEARNED from those already lost which now amounts to gross negligence on behalf of the Government in not protecting the Publics interests in terms of their security [ SEE BELOW - DATA LOSSES ].

As of indirectness and the EU could it be that the Government could simply influence British Culture via EU Policies such that “finger pointing” be towards Brussels and not itself as to accountability and responsibility?. How does one explain EU accounts not being signed off for some 13 years and UK MEP’s abusing their expenses [ one being told to repay £500,000 ] as dysfunctional systems allow criminals to enter the UK followed closely behind by planes loaded with arrest warrants to process at the Publics expense in returning them back to their own EU Countries.

The exploitION of PEOPLE WITHIN SOCIETIES as a votING mechanism

To a technology driven Police Force Tera Byte Data storage is not very cost effective unless daily INPUT is achieved through “People Profiling” and crime – all while bonuses be paid at Police High Authority levels as officers within the ranks employ ZERO TOLERENCE against citizens in meeting Governmental targets to fill Prisons and put feathers into Political hats!. Following that the culture of Society changed through High Street “Litigation shops” which the Government allowed whereby one could sue thy neighbor on a “no win no fee basis”. Of course in promoting litigation one promotes ISOLATION too as people walk past people and drive past people in not wanting to be legally sued for offering a lift to which an accident may result!. As to Character References prospective employers must use the CRB [ Criminal Records Bureau ] to which FEES become frequently payable as work forces on short term contract change jobs with the wind. Professionals too fear litigation whereby many people are now referred to other professions in protecting themselves. Hence services such as the NHS could be over whelmed with duplicity as to tests costing it dearly while delaying waiting lists from shortening – all at the Tax payers expense!. In being educated by the Government as to STANDARDS have people and Societies become a REFLECTION of them in applying Zero Tolerance towards Authority itself, Respect now being DISRESPECT, trust being DISTRUST, accountability now UNACCOUNTABILITY while responsibility has been replaced with IRRESPONSIBILITY?. Its ironic that the Gov now targets those on Benefits while promoting a system which exploits people in them becoming criminals for CRB tagging as prospective employers can deny them jobs leading to rising unemployment and more benefit claimants!.

How many innocent people have been “fitted-up” as Criminals ?. Are UK Courts simply places where suspects be found guilty while prison isolation then allows such individuals to be bullied into confessing for early release?. The end justifying the means such that New Labour provide statistics as a measure success while not showing the true statistics as to tears, misery and suffering that occurred in how they were arrived at!. It all very well PM Brown and HO Smith talking about terrorism as a Public domain issue but it simply ignores Gov to People terror_ism in the same way that PEERS see nothing wrong in abusing their Powers/privileges through delaying Laws such that others benefit at the tax payers expense.

One cannot keep torturing People and their Societies through the continuous failure of a Gov to service their needs and given such neglect and escalating Police Powers there must come a time when both face each other head on.

BONUSES

Tax Payers already contribute 25% of their earnings to Government Salaries and so should such bonuses paid be seen as over payments?.

07 03 2008 HMRC bonuses - unjustified' say MPs. The committee found that senior managers at HMRC received an average bonus of £7,727 in 2006/07, up three-fifths on the previous year. The total pot was £18.9 million - and that rose again to £23 million in 2007/08.

06 06 2008 Six-figure bonuses for rail bosses. Network Rail bosses are to receive six-figure bonuses despite presiding over travel chaos caused by engineering work overruns at the new year.

06 07 2008 Civil Service bonuses under fire. Civil servants banked more than £128 million in bonuses during the last financial year. The Department for Culture, Media and Sport £11,000; Home Office [ £5.7 million ] and Defra [ £3.9 million ] staff averaging over £9,000 each; MoD in 2007/08 - £41.3 million; Department for Work and Pensions £36.6 million including £3.7 million to the failed Child Support Agency; Treasury £21.7 million of which some £19 million went to staff at HM Revenue and Customs; Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (formerly DTI) £4.4 million. "With Government failing on so many fronts, this looks like a 'something for nothing' culture." In 2005-06 alone, there were 55,000 complaints about the CSA  - There was also a backlog of a quarter of a million cases waiting to be processed and around 36,000 cases were "simply stuck in the system", a committee's report said.
