Redmond Coyle, Lawyer Fatally Shot in Pickens Shooting

J. Redmond Coyle, 61, was fatally shot tonight in Pickens after a shooting on Main Street. Redmond Coyle was pronounced dead at Cannon Memorial Hospital.

He was shot in the back in the parking lot for his law office at 303 E. Main Street, which is just across from the Pickens County Courthouse.

The Pickens Police Department is investigating, authorities said.

It is not know if anyone else was injured or is in critical condition at this time.
