Referendum under UN aegis can expose Pak lies, says Baluch hero
For more than 15 million Baluch of the diaspora that includes Persian Gulf, Europe and North America the young but fiery Nawab Brahamdagh Bugti conjures up the image of a national Robin Hood trying to drive out the fourth largest army in the world from his homeland.
In response to Pakistan's general amnesty claim, he demanded a free and fair plebiscite under the UN and other international agencies with zero Pakistani involvement to pave the way for independence.
Bugti's spokesperson Sher Mohammad Bugti explained that settlers will have no vote in the referendum nor will any Pakistani agency play any role in the exercise.
"Impossible. Impossible" Baluch national hero Nawab Brahamdagh Bugti, said, when asked about any chances of a compromise with the Pakistani civilian and military leadership over the future of Baluchistan, adding that his troubled and bleeding homeland needs the help of the international community.
Talking to this correspondent on phone from an undisclosed location Saturday, he said international intervention in Baluchistan is a must to end Pakistani state terrorism.
"We don't need any deal as there is no question for any give and take," Bugti said, "They are stealing our resources, rather looting us at gunpoint in the backdrop of a slow genocide."

I don't think Brahamdagh ever travelled to Europe or North America nor do I heard that he has ever attended any so-called elite univeristy either in Pakistan or abroad. Yet, I can see a great deal of political maturity in him. Trust me, this guy is a pure gem! He can make of a great statesman. Perhaps, it was his upbringing in the hands of Nawab Bugti and his friendship with Mir Balach which left powerful influence on his life.

Not sure which book in the world says involving the international community in your struggle goes against your struggle!

F.B, Unfortunately the only thing some of us know is ‘independent Balochistan’. Ask them, how to fulfil this lofty ambition, they haven’t got a clue. What a cuckoo's world mentality!!! Empty rhetoric and rational calculations cannot go together.

Dear all.....Holding a referendum in Balochistan,,,, has no meaning. We should held referendum for what? Hold referendum, that we want to liv or die? I think this matter of holding referendum in Balochistan is a short thought matter. We do not need to hold any referendum for our right of death or life. It is crystal clear we want to live , not die. So, I do not accept any form for referendum in Balochistan.'Long Live Balochistan
