VIRGINIA BEACH – Police Monday released the identity of a woman whose remains were found in the woods in Va. Beach last week.
Chantel G. Bryant, 35, of the 2900 block of Kimball Terrace in Norfolk, was reported missing on February 2.
The mother of five disappeared around 11:00 p.m. from her home on Kimball Terrace and wasn't seen again.According to police records, someone else staying at her apartment noticed that she was gone a few hours later. Bryan'ts car and keys were still at the apartment, but not her cell phone. A check with relatives turned up nothing.
Since that time, residents in the Chesterfield Heights area have often wondered what happened to their missing neighbor

I'm sadden that sister's body was discovered but no arrests were made. I'm not certain if it's because the police in Virginia have a large workload or if they just do not care because she is a poor black woman. Her family want and deserve answers. Someone is guilty of this dispicable crime. There is evidence to suggest who might have committed this crime it seems that there has been no follow through.
