Romney wins, barely

For one brief flickering moment Mitt Romney eked a 3% margin win over Ron Paul to take Maine. If Romney had lost Maine, I think it would have doomed his bid for Presidency. This is New England and home turf.  Was the slim margin sufficient?

The Romney candidacy is on life support and so too is Santorum and Paul. Paul and Santorum need stem cell transplants but they voted against that.

Jeb Bush is watching from home. A brokered convention might lure the reluctant brother of the former president and son of a former president to reignite the dynasty.

Perhaps he knows what a tall order that would be; though a fight to nominate him might rekindle the spirit for 2016.

Remember the Alamo and remember Jeb Bush.

The former Massachusetts governor also has won a presidential straw poll of activists attending the Conservative Political Action Conference.
