Law & Order Bahamas style - SUX!!!...not impressed!!!!

A gang of bikers chased after a 23-year-old woman motorcyclist in an apparent attempt to force her off the road.

The woman was riding along East Broadway, away from Hamilton, when two bikes began following her and then overtook her on Friday, at about 6 p.m.

She said the pillion passengers on each bike then kept looking back at her before four more bikes joined the pursuit as she drove east along Middle Road.

The gang aimed inappropriate remarks at her, with some of them trying to force her off the road, according to the complainant's mother, who asked not to be identified. Royal Gazette  Jan 5,2009

Three men were shot this morning as violence flared in Court Street.

The victims were caught up in gunfire at the corner of Court Street and Elliott Street shortly after 9 a.m..

It was the second shooting in less than 24 hours — with one man shot dead and another seriously injured in St. Monica's Road yesterday.

Premier Dr. Ewart Brown appealed for calm and said he will now push to bring in specialist overseas officers to assist Police in a crackdown on youth violence and gun crime in Bermuda.

Eye-witnesses this morning reported seeing a man get out of a blue car and chase a man into the C & R Discount store, firing shots after him. More shots are said to have taken place inside the store.

The man then exited and the vehicle is said to have sped on towards Front Street.

Police sealed off sections of Court Street, Elliott Street and Angle Street this morning while detectives and forensics officers combed the area.

A subdued silence descended upon the normally bustling thoroughfare.

"There was a lot of people on the street. I just heard the explosion of the first gunshot and immediately took cover," said Raphael Barnett, 52, who runs the fruit and vegetable truck 'Diamond One Stop'.

"People were running here, running there."

Allan Outerbridge, 58, said: "It just looked like something you see on the TV. Everybody went for cover. I guess if you want to call that scared, yes, they were scared."

Man dies after daylight shooting

A man has died and another is in hospital following a daylight shooting in St. Monica's Road.

Police are to issue a statement later this evening.

The brazen attack happened at around 2.45 this afternoon.

At least 12 police officers — plain clothed, uniformed and a few in bullet proof vests — guarded the entrance to St. Monica's Road, known as 42nd Street by the community soon after.

The Royal Gazette understands one man was shot in the stomach and the other in his back. The reports were not confirmed by Police.

Traffic was prevented from driving in the area in response to the shooting, as officers kept guard.

And there were reports of gunshots fired in nearby Curving Avenue where Police recovered at least one casing at the scene.

The shootings also saw restricted access to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where the two men are being treated for their injuries. Only the family of the victims were being allowed inside this afternoon.

Armed Police were guarding a barricade at the entrance to the ER department and the main entrance off Point Finger Road, allowing only family members or essential services through.

Black males are born with natural rape/violent/murderous impulses.

Every country on Earth that has a lot of black people, you will find this to be the case. Pick a state in the USA and it's inner-cities will have black people rampant and black males committing a very very very high amount of crime. It's no accident. It's no coincidence. Send all black males back to their roots, Africa, and watch all inner cities improve tremendously, overnight. Can you imagine how much nicer the city of New Orleans would become?

Frank Rizzo that is a pretty racist statement.  Did you know that statistics regarding black males that commit crimes or are in jail are highly inproportionate to the general society.  The reason why there are so many black men in prison is because of drug laws.

Breaking News: Police launch murder hunt Woman's body found in road
23-year-old mother murdered

Eyewitnesses told The Royal Gazette that they saw the female lying in a pool of blood outside Steel City and the Roses Flower Shop on Hog Bay Level at about 3.30 p.m.

One woman told us: "I saw a girl laying in the road. The Police was all there and the ambulance came after. The fire truck was there."

She said a body was taken away after officers took measurements at the scene. A man who lives nearby said he drove past and saw the woman lying face up, as officers tried to get a pulse.
