Reno Police make arrest in Denison murder case

Reno Police say they have made an arrest in the Brianna Denison murder case. They will hold a press conference at 10:30 this morning to release new information.
Twenty-seven-year old James Biela was arrested and booked into the Washoe County Jail on Tuesday night. He has been charged with murder, 1st degree kidnapping and sexual assault.
Police will not confirm that the arrest of Biela is related to the Denison case.
Nineteen- year old Brianna Denison was kidnapped from a home near the University of Nevada on Jan. 20. Police recovered her body from a field in South Reno on Feb. 15.
Police have linked the Denison case to other sexual assaults in the University of Nevada area using DNA evidence.
The Reno community has pulled together in efforts to find Denison's killer. Residents have participated in a number of fundraisers to support DNA testing.
