    Update: 12:07pm PT

There has been no dialogue so far between the shooter and police, but they believe he is the only one remaining in the store. They do not know his motive for the shooting, but they have confirmed that he fired in the direction of some employees when he entered the store.

    Previous Story:

According to the Reno-Gazette Journal, the alleged shooter is still inside the Walmart and has holed up inside a corner office in the building. Police are SWAT are currently trying to negotiate with him after he shot three people inside the store this morning.

He reportedly walked into the store at about 8:30am with a small caliber handgun and shot three employees who have now been transported to hospital. It is not known at this time who he shot, although there are rumors one may have been a store manager.

The shooter's identity has not been revealed.

Jimmy Moses, who is in the parking lot with his toddler, said he dropped his wife off for her first day of work at Wal-Mart this morning.

Moses, who is communicating with his wife by cell phone, said all of the employees have been put on a bus and are sitting in the Sports Authority Parking lot.

The employees are being checked on a roster to determine if anyone is missing or still inside the Walmart.

We will stay up to date on this story and update when more information becomes available.
