Yonhap news agency reports that North Korea has fired another two short range missiles off its east coast.  According to CNN, MSNBC and ABC news apparently five missiles were fired.  Their source is AP.

Hillary Clinton said that scheduled talks with North Korea would continue despite the missile firing.

The firing occurred after North Korea issued a no sail zone for the area.

Nuclear proliferation and these tests have been an issue in U.S. Foreign Policy.  This, no doubt, will once again start calls for North Korea to cease and desist.

This is another issue, that requires the engagement of China and North Korea to ensure meaningful action can be taken.

This will also be an opportunity for the newest Peace Nobel Prize winner to demonstrate his skills in world cooperation by getting China and Russia to work with him.

Mr. Medvednev let's show us how sincere you are in stifling world nuclear proliferation.

SEOUL, South Korea — Yonhap news agency says that North Korea has fired two short-range missiles off its east coast.

Yonhap quoted an unidentified South Korean government official as saying that the North test-fired the missiles on Monday afternoon.

Yonhap said the North has issued a no-sail zone in an area off the east coast Oct. 10-20.

The report came hours after South Korea proposed two sets of working-level talks with North Korea. But Seoul also said it had no plan to resume high-level dialogue with its communist neighbor — amid lingering tensions over the North's nuclear weapons programs.

SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea test-launched five short-range missiles Monday, reports said, in what analysts said was an attempt to improve its bargaining position ahead of possible talks with the United States

Unfortunately for the O administration nothing will be done except for more threats of sanctions. I know I will take some heat for making this statement that I am going to post here but if these rogue nations want to test fire their missiles I so let 'em rip...at least we know what the capabilities are of these trash cans that they launch. This will not set well with you israeli.agent but my statement is not to make light nor diminish the seriousness of the threat to your sovereign nation. Like Iran these rogue countries need to be handled like the spoiled redheaded step child. ( I have red hair but not a step-child...spoiled?) and closely monitored for expanding their ambitious attitudes toward nuclear armament. The free world should not let this happen. But if they fire these test missiles into the sky it gives the free nations the ability to develop counter-measures for any future delusional attacks they may attempt. I speak only from the perspective of a friend to Israel thousands of mile away.

I cannot imagine the horror and everyday feeling of a pending assault  that you must deal with everyday and my heart goes out to you. And every free nation must protect our friends from any destructive action that may occur. Sanctions have never and will never work against these juvenile delinquent nations but a close eye and pre-planning will go much  further.
