Republicans are refusing to take money from the Stimulus! Does this mean more money for those who do want it? Sign me up will you Obama? They are refusing because they already got their big 700b bailout for their worthless banks? Nice guys aren't they......not wanting to put the country in more debt......and oh forget about Mom&Pop America.

First let's look at the Job situation...We are losing them....and this is not an old occurance. We have developed big corporations from General Electric to General Motors..and those well known companies have all been known to lay off people. Just what does it mean when Republicans say cutting taxes creates jobs? How can they think cutting taxes is going to save the jobs of the companies they created? You can not blame Democrats for your company layoffs.
How many light light bulbs does a family really need? How many cars does a family really need? Isn't there a saturation point? And so by cutting taxes that is going to make a difference for them to buy more light bulbs, or a 3rd car?
Obviously not......Common sense tells us the ideas of cutting taxes is an old worn out political catch phrase.....that really means a whole lot of nothing.... No matter if they closed down the government and outlawed taxes to never be enlisted or waged on the people again....it would not create new jobs....or bring economic relief.
Let's be clear then. Economic relief means to be able to keep your job...so you have an income...to meet monthly obligations....whether that is paying for a mortgage, rent, electric bills, car loan, food, gas, insurance, clothes, or medical security.
The idea that capitalism is bad, it is and is not but we need to understand the motives. Capitalism is good to initiate investment for things that are in need...which have not met its saturation point.. ..but bad when people over extend their needs just for the sake of want and accumulating money simply for it. The cost to the environment is not a quick recovery when people mindlessly rush to consume without thought to the reality and world we live in.
Of course there are many different products, that have various values associated to them, and this is where risk unfolds to who will buy which product. We have to decide practicality over style, or try to get both if possible. These issues create a market price for items which can be sold for people to keep their jobs.
In the US the market price is established really by the Technology costs in making it. The idea of technology is so man can do things better at a lower cost is not true, because the people who make the product want to get as much money as possible for it.
Take for instance the idea of buying a gas car, compared to buying an electric car. Today in the US if I want to buy an electric car...I must expect to pay the same price as it would be to buy a gas car.. How is it that electric costs more? It certainly would be less in my opinion, but now the Automakers want to have the same pay as they were getting when they made the gas cars.
Now compare that to how China does business, because they have so many people, labor is realtively cheap. They get the technology and they use it to make the job easier for the worker...but they do not raise the prices higher. This is so the people can afford to buy the product, and to sell it in other markets.
Other markets don't like it because more than likely a similar product they have competes, and since China prices are so low, people will buy the lower cost item before they spend on something that costs more. WalMart is the perfect example of a low price store....because most of the products in WalMart are made in China. It is the very reason the US does not have much trade in China, because US products are way over priced.
So why the economic turmoil? People buy things low and resell them at a higher cost. I call that inflated profits....and they did this with homes. ..which has caused home values to be worthless than the loan they have to pay.....or the equity that they built up that is lost because home values plummetted... And how about those billionaires and millionaires, who scheme our money into Ponzi Pyramids, or phoney CD's like Bernie Madoff and Sr. Allen Stanford did to investors?
I really think Billionaires are crooks, to include Bill Gates Mr. Mosquito Guy.....who hoards their money and don't use it to help the people. The wads of cash they have in those crooked banks while people suffer in the world is criminal.. Rich guys don't own helicopters, or Leer Jets, or nice cars.....because they are so rich they don't need to own them. Everything they need is provided by the Lord instead.
People are talking about Nationalizing the Banks...this means the government controls the in flows and out flows of monetary policy. This means also that they are going to have to put price value caps on Real Estate...to assure that values remain the same as the loan.....given the depreciation that occurs as time makes things old.
How to stabilize the world crisis.. Government needs to see that we have to see how many people are working in the world, which equates to the amount of things they would consume. Should we place a limit on how many cars, a person owns? How many washing machines, we own, or how many refrigerators? I have 3 refrigerators, but no car, and 1 washing machine. When I buy those things it determines the paycheck to the person who made that product right? But that product will last a lot longer in time, meaning I won't be buying one every month...which means I won't be giving money to to the guy/gal who makes those items. This means whatever it is.....we make there is always a peak and saturation, where we reach....This means the end to our job.
There are jobs that do not have such time constraints such as buying food, but food is also a saturation product given that we can only grow food certain times of the year, and abundance means less sales at lower costs.
Do I think we should have bailed out the banks? I think that was a mistake, and always knew it would not work...Because it can't work...Do I think the Obama stimulus will work? To create jobs....in a over saturated market? It can't work. The most they can do is refinance the homes, and forget the losses.
Is there a problem? Maybe not.... We have all the things we need and can't buy more, and if we buy more....it means we need more income to pay it.....
If anything the needs are for monthly bills....food, telephone, computer, gas, electric, insurance. If the US used technology to really help people, by not taking huge profits from the technology offered...it would be a winner for all Americans. If I can buy an electric car for $4,000 usd.....it would be a great change to how things are done....People would benefit, they would get transportation, and it would save the environment....
Foremost the first thing to do in helping the people first is by getting food to them... There is always some force out there that is trying to contol our behaviors, to buy this or that...Politicians saying raise taxes, or cut them....simply is not a real choice.
Of course we need to support certain services, and do our best to making it through another day....But I would say Republicans and Democrats need to stop arguing about these issues...because it is an argument that no one wins. The chinese never argue about this...and they have been around much longer than the USA. In fact America began by getting the goods from China to make America in the first place.....America traded Opium for the goods....and America prospered.......It just never learned to help each other instead of thinking only of their individual greed.....
Now this crisis is the same as what happened to Russia in 1991 when it collapsed, and we see how Russia has come back as a vibrant economy.....I can only think things will get better in the USA....but they need to change......by people in government and out of government helping each other....stop the tax debates.....and start treating us like family instead of Professional leachers.......Stop lying, and start to be honest with each other....Life is short enough....without these headaches.

YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. Quit using electric cars and China for your arguments when you are abviously ignorant to both. I live in China, and it's not the way you make it seem. The pollution here is terrible, caps are put on energy consumption and vehicles are way over-priced to the point where even professionals with masters degrees can't afford them. And you keep glorifying them?
This electric vehicle bit you keep feeding us: Shut up! Study supply and demand, free trade, energy, and everything else you keep opening your mouth about. When you finally understand the topic, then present a fact based argument. It's this exact uneducated, media-believing behavior that is killing America.

3 fold I think I do know know what I am talking. I live in China, and do see how things are and work....because of the reality of so many people. You must be in Beijing, or the bigger cities, where I am not.and is why there is the pollution. In fact my point is ::that cars are too expensive for people to buy in China.....seems you didn't read my article. The cars that are overpriced are the American ones....and many other foreign brands...where I see Chinese models around 16,000 rmb.
Yes I do like China better than the US.....because the US does not know what it is talking about...Case in point the failed financial Sector....crashed banks,, 700 billion dollar bank bailout, to include a 787 billion dollar stimulus.....it.really sounds like the US knows what it is talking about right?
And I won't shut....you inconsiderate WASP ....because your very system is the epitomy of lies to your supply and demand theory...because you never consider that people value is more legitimate than technology value...which you perfer to base your ideals upon. You would rather use robots to make products to cut labor costs...yet attach unsubstantiated profits based only on the theory of American greed and voracity.

Yes, like many people of our degrading society, you believe in this unachievable socialistic uptopia. The continuous bombardment of lies fit perfectly with your obedient self, consuming everything, questioning nothing. Jermano, I'm not losing my freedoms. I'm not going to give up the ideals that formed the greatest nation this planet has ever known. I embrace the foundations of the USA and will not stand for anything less.
And don't assume I support the current president of the USA, that I wanted these bailouts. It is the ideals of this very administration and it's supporters that are destroying America, trying to feed us the lies of global warming, alternative energy and your beloved electric vehicles. Let the free market take care of itself.
I believe in capitalism and the limitless ability to achieve as much or as little as one wants. But for those of you who don't want to work for their share, don't ask for any of mine. I am very much against Mass Media 3 fold.. Thats why I am here at NP. I consume far less than any American really knows. I gave up the auto over 9 years ago.....I do more to protect the environment than 100 people together...I bet. I do not believe in the modernistic theory...and I question everything.....So get off my back.....because you have no idea what you are talking about. I don't assume anything. There is Global Warming, and there is a major problem in continuing on the modernistic path that leads to no where. Alternative energy is meant to be better energy....not being controlled by the Oil Empire....while those murderers make my decisions. Democracy does not work...it is a lie.

Stay in China. Your ignorant and insecure self cannot handle the responsibility of freedom and liberty that democracy requires. And by the way, I don't pedal, I walk. Unfortunately, the government here does not reciprocate the privelege of a drivers license as the USA does. For those who don't know, America allows Chinese visitors to drive in the U.S. wth a Chinese license, but a U.S. license is not valid in China. Yet, you continue to bad mouth the greatest and most generous country the world has ever known. How could you use such a title as rev. when you have such a hateful tongue?

Oh poor 3 fold...has to walk....nothing wrong with that either. Ask yourself what do you need a car for? Everyone else has one...what can't get a ride? Why spend all the money, when a taxi works great...and you get people to drive you around...No need for insurance, or gas. I have foreign friends in China who have cars and drive in China. So what's your beef? I just prefer not to have one....Buy a car and let it sit in parking lot half its life? Makes no sense to me..I don't need a car....its a waste of time and money... Some people will cast Judas as a hero, because he brought to life Jesus and his resurrection; while discounting that the disciples who were identified with Jesus denied they knew him....Fear for their own lives, when Judas made money. Which leads to the struggle in becoming a Taliban. Do I accept the American philosophy that some guy in a poor country had anything to do with a plan to crash 4 airliners into America's psych? And deny the huge pile of evidence that 911 was an inside job? Knowing full well Bush has closed down the investigations, funded a phoney 911 Commission Report, refuses to answer questions about building 7 (the OEM) that miraculously collapsed later in the day...when it was not even hit by a plane, and was further away from other buildings that remained standing while also conveniently not even mentioning building 7's collapse in the 911 Commission Report.
Then I am to believe that the banks failed, because of crooked workers who can't pay their mortgages....while they gave bailout money to bank CEO's while also giving them the power to foreclose on homes.
Then I am to accept that the US killed 1 million innocent Iraqi people....when Bush admits Saddam did not do 911.
Then I am to accept Obama who says he will end the war, and yet he is ramping up the war in Afghanistan, putting pressure on Pakistan to kill innocent people who are defending themselves who happen to be Taliban?
Then the money issue comes flying in my face...well America has all the money..I just can not go against the American Government, big military establishment....besides that is why we have voted for our Congress people, and Senators to find answers...but the banks have failed..and there is no money to conduct investigations, and an unwilling President to make rational decisions...
Oh my.... more and more up against the wall is all I come up with.
And so I am to believe that my Congress people really represent me...when they have failed me for all these years? There comes the point do I do the unthinkable?
Join the Taliban? They have no money, like they do in the US. Yet they are the manufactured bad guys the US government has painted into our minds....but the evidence doesn't show them to be the bad guys.
Do I go on supporting the money Judas got, or deny I know Jesus and really go to him in Mountains? Do I support the State or Religion? Afterall America says they do not discriminate against Religion..but they certainly do with our Muslim brothers....by invading their homeland in Afghanistan. Jesus did not come with the intent or design of military establishments....and yet the US is killing people...to support the lie about 911.
Start the ATF? American Taliban Federation...and be the minutemen that they are in fighting the American Military machine. ..Then go to Vietnam and ask the North Vietnam Miltiary advisors to help manufacture weapons to move up through Laos, and Cambodia, and Myamar to help out our Taliban brothers in Afhganistan.

Names? If I'm not mistaken, who called who a murder(s)? Thats not the point, though. What really came of all this is we see that you have no facts to back up your initial argument of sustainable energy, as is the case with most media-supported green energy ideology.
