Resettlement of Muslim families by end of Ramazan festival

Four hundred Muslim families will be resettled shortly in the village of Salampaikulam in Vavuniya, Northern Province Governor Major General G.A Chandrasiri said. The Governor said that the families are expected to be resettled by the end of the Ramazan Festival and that all efforts were in place to meet that deadline.

The Governor had made this assurance during a visit to meet the displaced persons in the village of Salampaikulam.
