It troubles me that so many Democrat/Progressive/Liberal/Blue Collar Americans delight at Glen Beck losing advertisers. Imagine this Scenario - All these advertisers, while sitting around smoking their big ole cigars at their exclusive clubs are likely chortling over how easily the American Public can be manipulated to celebrate things that go against their own personal best interests.
Do you folks really just blindly follow what you are told and not think for yourselves? While I don't agree with everything that Glen Beck stands for, I can tell you I stand with him in his position that something is terribly wrong with America, that America is broken. I don't always appreciate his comments, choice of words or attitude, but I stand with him in his desire to restore the constitution and the Bill of Rights to their intended respected, inviolable positions as corner stones of the American Constitutional Republic. I stand with Glen Beck in restoring the Founding Father's vision of what America should be. I stand with Glen Beck in restoring that American Can do, pioneering spirit - that, "I am just going to make it happen" attitude.
I am deeply saddened that you folks do not realize that the very advertisers you are cheering for cutting their advertising to him, are the very people profiting the most from the current circumstances.... Profiting the Most at the common man's expense. Glen Beck does not want the American Game of life unfairly rigged against the little guy and in favor of big money. Glen Beck advocates restoring the original American Constitutional Republic and replacing the current defacto "Government by the Highest Bidder".
I again paint the rhetorical picture that somewhere, in an exclusive highbrow setting, while they are all alone, the high rollers must be having a good chuckle. I submit the laugh is at your expense. They have duped you into helping them prevent Glen Beck from advocating changes that would be beneficial to the average citizen and reigned in the amoral and unethical excesses of tyrants.
Please people, start thinking for yourselves. Please start placing loyalty to your family and your country over party loyalty. Please forgive me, but I can only understand your behavior in applauding the pull out of these advertisers from Beck in one perspective... That you believe your best life strategy is to curry favor with those in power so that they will throw you a few scraps as a reward for your boot licking loyalty. I do not understand how can you complain day after day about low wages, a hectic schedule and both spouses having to work to make ends meet and then celebrate the attempts to silence Glen Beck? Just what exactly is your thought process? I sincerely want to understand.
Personally, I would rather die than grovel at the feet of power for a few scraps and be powerless when that power no longer has a need for me and/or tires of me.
Those were my thoughts.
Respectfully,

Good thoughts! Why am I not surprised that the Pigs running Walmart would pull their advertising?

Hello Queens hart -
You are right that in these public settings, it is all posturing and thinking about what to say next.
That is why i advocate each tea party person bring one person to these events that would not normally come on their own.
I advocate one on one dialogue....
No one is converted just because you can yell louder than they can.

WalMart that was a big mistake, dropping GB. He may go overboard from time to time but I am sure that he is 100% sincere. I never miss his show. Kiss and make up.....shame on you.

I am glad to see someone articulate how a lot of the people I know feel. Thank you Cynical Patriot. This country is in need of change. We need to return to the the dream our forefathers had for this once great nation. I did say "once great" because it is no longer. Society has allowed a very slow progression away from this country's original direction. The powers that be have gradually taken away the rights afforded us by the Constitution. Which is arguably the greatest governmental document ever penned. We need our Constitution back. WE THE PEOPLE need to demand this of our government and vote them out if they do not appropriately respond to our wishes. Thank you for your time.

Thanks VA Redneck
People need to understand that the polticians are just pitting us against each other so that we dont notice what they are doing to us?
Americans, we are all more alike than we are different.
Again,
The battle lines are not Republican v Democrat, nor Conservative v Liberal nor White v Color nor Rich v Poor, the true battle is WE THE PEOPLE v Corrupt Politicians.
