But this cat and mouse game is not going to end anytime soon. It will suck economies dry as this war against terror will drag on for many years to come. USA has been the biggest player in this at every level. They are not only responsible for creating the "Islamic warriors" or Mujahideen for their own objectives, but also for the latest divide between the Muslims and the western civilization. America's intrusion in to other coutry's affairs and their use of "diplomatic force" to follow American agenda, America's double standards in democracy and dictatorship, America's support for dictators and supporting leaders against the people's choice were all the reasons for the evolution of today's "Islamic" radicals and why the masses supported these radiicals.

Some points raised in this article are very valid. This is not Europe's war... this is United States of America's war. All other countries have been dragged into this. Why the European leaders let themselves be dragged into this is something we must find out. Also European nations can still salvage their relations with the Muslim world and most of the terrorism related issues can be resolved. Our economies can greatly benefit if we can improve our ties with vastly populated Muslim world. Muslim world in return can also benefit by doing business with Western nations.

We must pull out our troops from Afghanistan and Iraq. USA must face their own ghosts and deal with them alone. This will be a good lesson for USA. Europe had no threat from "Islamic radicals", it was pure hysteria created by the US.

People seem to not understand that Taliban are a local stock that isn't going away. They can be pushed from place to place. When the outsiders are gone, they will attempt to reestablish themselves where they think they belong.

Well staying in the Taliban territory forever is also not an option. The only hope is to actually bring a long lasting change in the society through education, interaction, business development and cultural exchange programs. Talibans can be defeated but only with the support of the local people..
