REVEALED: Indian-US-Afghan nexus behind terrorism in Pakistan
Although many Pakistani believed and have been talking of the Indian-US-Afghan nexus behind the spate of terrorism in the country during the past couple of years and were wondering why Islamabad kept mum over the issue, the Pakistani military battling terrorists in South Waziristan tribal region bordering Afghanistan has announced it has found evidence of Indian support to terrorists who are killing and maiming people.
On Monday, the Pakistani military spokesman Maj-Gen Athar Abbas announced at a press conference that the troops fighting terrorists in South Waziristan have recovered Indian arms, ammunition, medicines and literature from the hideouts of militants dismantled during the ongoing battle.
Although US puppet Hamid Karzai and his officials as well as the Indian leaders have been making hue and cry about training camps of terrorists on Pakistani soil, it has now become crystal clear that war-ravaged Afghanistan is real hub of terrorists operating inside Pakistan. Only a day earlier, an official of the Karzai puppet regime in Kabul claimed that some Pakistani militants were involved in attack on a UN compound in Afghanistan a few days earlier and an Indian minister warn Pakistan of serious consequences if any terrorism incident occurred on Pakistani soil. It has, however, become clear now that the Indians who have been propagating against Pakistan since Mumbai attacks might have used some terrorists of Pakistani origin trained by them on Afghan soil in Mumbai attacks to conceal their own sinister designs against Pakistan.
Many Pakistanis are now at a loss to understand as to why their rulers are not speaking loudly and clearly about the US, Indian and Afghan nefarious designs against the only nuclear state among the Islamic countries and instead of ending so-called cooperation with the United States in its sham war against terrorism and taking the Afghans and Indians to task for the spate of terrorism in the country are still talking of al-Qaeda and Taliban involvement in terrorism despite the fact that Taliban repeatedly denied their support to the terrorists fighting the Pakistani security forces.
The role of the Pakistani rulers, who are already facing a plethora of political problems on the domestic front, in the international conspiracy against Pakistan also seems dubious because many analysts are repeatedly making it clear that the United States is providing intelligence and logistic support to the terrorists to malign the Afghan Taliban, who have literally inflicted a humiliating defeat on the US troops and Nato troops, and create chaos in Pakistan to deprive the country of its nukes while the puppet Afghan regime and Indian government are training terrorists and providing them arms, ammunition and dollars to carry out terrorism acts on Pakistani soil.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has found concrete evidence of India’s involvement behind the trouble in South Waziristan Agency (SWA) and would take up the matter with the Indian government.
This was stated by Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj-Gen Athar Abbas at a joint media briefing with Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira on the ongoing operation Rah-e-Nijat here on Monday.
It merits mentioning here that it is for the first time that Pakistan has categorically said about India’s hand behind militancy in South Waziristan. General Abbas said a huge quantity of Indian arms and ammunition, literature, medical equipment and medicines have been recovered from the Sherwangai area near Kaniguram.
He said the Foreign Office had been informed and the matter would be taken up with the Indian authorities through diplomatic channels. The military spokesman said security forces have completely secured the control of Kaniguram. He said there were fortified positions and bunkers in the area being used by the militants to target security forces. He said the entire area had been cleared of mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). He said five truckloads of arms and ammunition have been recovered from the area on Monday.
The DG ISPR further claimed that Karama village in East of Kaniguram was also in control of the troops.
General Abbas said the operation was progressing according to the plan and the armed militants were defeated on all fronts. However, he pointed out that it was not clear that the top leadership of the Taliban had fled to North Waziristan or was still in the area.
The military spokesman said the militants were effectively been dislodged from their hideouts which meant they stood disorganised now. “If they are dislodged, we will be moving very close to victory,” he remarked.
Answering a question about the closure of some half a dozen security check-posts by the US-led Nato forces in Afghanistan close to Pakistan’s border, he said: “We have been told that it was re-adjustment of the posts.” He said Pakistan had sought information on the ìre-adjustmentî of posts as closure of posts in certain sensitive areas will certainly affect the ongoing military operation.
He rejected the notion that the prior announcements about an impending operation in South Waziristan gave time to the militants to be ready for it, saying that security forces kept on making preparations for the offensive while aerial strikes were being conducted.
On the Razmak-Makeen axis, he said, security forces are consolidating their positions on the ridges, along the Razmak-Makeen road. The important village of Cheena, just adjacent to Makeen, has been secured, he claimed.
Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira, while responding to a question about the reports that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her recent visit urged Pakistan to launch operation in North Waziristan and Balochistan, said Pakistan was not bound by advises given to it.
Answering another question, he said the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief’s visit to Saudi Arabia was part of bilateral contacts on different levels maintained by the two brotherly countries. He said General Ahmad Shuja Pasha’s visit had nothing to do with the domestic politics of Pakistan.
The minister said while it had been decided to raise the issue of South Waziristan unrest with India, Pakistan would not deviate from the peace process aimed at resolving lingering disputes between the two countries.
APP adds: Kaira said terrorists in South Waziristan have been surrounded from all sides and there is no chance for them to escape in large numbers. He said the entire nation is extending complete support to security forces engaged in purging the country of terrorists, who are targeting the civilian population out of desperation.
Condemning the Rawalpindi blast, he said people of Pakistan, the government and armed forces are committed to eliminating terrorists who are trying to harass the people through cowardly acts.
"The successes of the military operations in Swat and now in South Waziristan speak volumes about the professional capabilities of the armed forces," he said. The minister said 45,138 displaced families of South Waziristan have been registered so far. The records of remaining families are currently being scrutinised by the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra), he said.
Our Wana/Peshawar correspondents add: After seizing control of Kaniguram, security forces are reportedly advancing on Srarogha. Official sources said Srarogha was under siege from four sides and was likely to fall in the next 24 hours.
Military officials said a dozen militants were killed and six Army soldiers suffered injuries in two separate engagements with the militants in Srarogha and Kaniguram. Local sources said the troops continued house-to-house search for militants and their secret training facilities and hideouts in Kaniguram. They said a huge quantity of explosives was recovered during a search operation in upper part of the Kaniguram town.
The political administration officials said the troops in another sector moved towards Ladha on Monday. One official said the village of Malak Shahi had been captured after the seizure of Tauda Cheena. The troops, he said, had advanced to the Tehsil building in Ladha.
The ISPR statement said the military expanded its positions on ridges from different directions towards Srarogha. It said the militants were firing mortars and small arms at the troops from time to time. Four militants were killed and six soldiers injured in a clash in the same area, it added. The troops also conducted operations in Shin Sar, Guru Sar and Mangora Sar.
According to the ISPR, eight militants were killed in clashes with the Army troops. Nowadays there is no comment from the Taliban, who refuted the Army claims in the first week of the operation and insisted that only three of their men had been killed.

Yawn...50 bucks nothing will come out of this. We've been hearing this for what...over a year now?? I always wonder why you don't present your supposedly "proofs" in front of the UN like the rest of the world would do.. Hmm... shouldn't have sent terrorists in J&K, Mumbai etc in the first place..now when they bite the hands that once fed them you guys have the audacity to whine & moan..lol anyways, ever heard the saying "What goes around comes around"?...

Rest assured, time will shortly prove everything. Why the proofs have not been put before the world? The answer is that a few corrupt rulers, who can't offend the US because they have built huge properties in that country by usurping the public money and proving the Indian involvement in terrorism in Pakistan would obviously entail the unmasking of the real face the US, are holding the top offices of the government but their days in power seem to have been numbered and whenever a true leader of Pakistani people came into power, the world would come to know each and everything. As far as J&K is concerned, India has legitimised its terrorism there by sending uniformed terrorists while the Mumbai saga has been explained in the story.

HussainYou have been under hard military dictatorships for the majority of your sovereignty. Where has it taken you? Now you say that the democratically elected govt also is not good eh.. You know what the problem is? the majority of Pakistanis have got their heads buried in the sand. Have a look at your country mate.it's in tatters.. ever wondered why? Had India wanted to spread terrorism in Pakistan, straightaway they would've sent non-state actors (may be a common word to Pakistanis) & blown up PoK & not Balochistan or Waziristan...atleast that would've made sense. As for J&K...you guys certainly didn't have any objection when the mullahs of the NWFP were happily crossing over in 47 hunh...and what about operation Gibraltar? How did that happen? You do know the Kashmiris showed you the finger then isn't it?? What about Kargil...somebody was having some sort of a fantasy to use non-state actors (oops some were uniformed pakistani army regulars) isn't it? And yes who many of the uniformed terrorists were there before 1989? Zilch!Ah the Mumbai saga..boy oh boy! even your government has accepted that they were pakistanis members of LeT & didn't your Navy COS confirm that the attack was indeed planned in Pakistan? Now if you still claim that Americans can influence your govt to such an extent or that Indians can control Pakistanis at will then better disband your govt & armed forces and rename your country as banana republic or lala land...your choice.P.S. have a look at this.www.sdpi.org/whats_new/reporton/State%20of%20Curr&TextBooks.pdfFor Pakistanis by Pakistanis. It will help you as a journalist..err well i hope. It will answer many questions in your mind. It may also give you an idea about why Albright called Pakistan an international migraine. It's time for Pakistanis to learn how to stop differentiating between good and bad jihadis/terrorists..whatever. ISI has learnt it the hard way right?Regards

Yea Yea Yea!Wait for sometime, Pakistan will say that the sun rising from East is also a Indian conspiracy to get light before Pakistan. :DA failed nation has been trying to push a failed propaganda for years.Oh! Did I see a "Opinion" icon on this article? Oh my! That's why it's an opinion as its a propaganda/lie?!A nation built on alms from India has not been able to even return the debt it raised from India at the time of its foundation.[q url="www.business-standard.com/india/news/historical-burden-pakistan-still-owes-india-rs-300-cr/66814/on"]Pakistan is yet to clear a pre- partition debt of Rs 300 crore to India, which has been carrying forward year after year in its Budget account as a "liability".The Budget books refer to this Rs 300 crore as "amount due from Pakistan on account of share of pre-partition debt."The amount was entered as a liability in the first Budget of independent India in 1950-51 and has been there ever since. But this a measly amount compared to the union government's total liabilities that total Rs 34,95,452 crore and accounts for just 0.008 per cent of the total liabilities. However, in 1950-51 this amount accounted for more than 10 per cent of India's total liabilities of Rs 2,865.40 crore and nearly 10 times of India's total external debt of Rs 32 crore.Surprisingly, New Delhi has not added interest to this amount since its entry in the books. However, India has cleared its share of the pre-partition debt of Rs 50 crore soon after independence in 1947.[/q]
